The University of Copenhagen will lead Denmark's first lunar mission, a European Space Agency project that will map the Moon's surface in three dimensions to support future landings and base construction. The Mani satellite will orbit the Moon's north and south polar regions, acquiring high-resolution images that can be combined into detailed elevation models.
