Berlin, Germany (SPX) Oct 31, 2025

OrbitsIQ Global, a Luxembourg-headquartered telecommunications company focused on integrating satellite and terrestrial connectivity for mobile assets, has acquired UNIO Enterprise, a Munich-based broadband connectivity provider that integrates space-based and ground networks, including 4G and 5G. Both firms will collaborate to advance seamless connectivity solutions for vehicles, planes, and boats by combining their technical platforms.

UNIO, established in 2022 as a joint venture between Isar Aerospace, Reflex Aerospace, Mynaric, and SES, has developed the UNIO Move B2B platform. This system merges terrestrial and satellite links to ensure reliable, continuous broadband coverage for mobility sectors such as automotive, maritime, and aviation.

"With this transaction, we welcome UNIO to OrbitsIQ and see a future where our combined expertise enables anywhere anytime connectivity for mobile and autonomous systems," said OrbitsIQ Chairman and CEO Joe Euteneuer. "UNIO's smart switch technology complements our vision for reliable global operations."

UNIO CEO Katrin Bacic stated, "Joining OrbitsIQ is a significant milestone for UNIO and we look forward to working with a partner that maintains our team and helps ensure that our mission will carry forward.

"This collaboration aims to combine UNIO's unique broadband connectivity solutions with OrbitsIQ's vision to seamlessly integrate satellite and terrestrial networks with mobile assets. We look forward to working with Joe and his team to solve the challenge of unreliable connectivity."

The deal's financial terms were not disclosed. OrbitsIQ, founded in 2024, maintains offices in Luxembourg and the United States, and will integrate UNIO's AI-powered switching technology with its existing global platform.
