Voyager Technologies Inc. NYSE: VOYG, the majority holder of Starlab Space LLC, has chosen Vivace Corporation to manufacture Starlab's primary structure. The next generation, AI enabled commercial space station is designed to sustain continuous human presence in low Earth orbit and rank among the largest single spaceflight structures ever built.

Vivace will apply its advanced aerospace engineering capabilities in close collaboration with Starlab and international partners to complete design to manufacture activities and commence fabrication of the main structure, aligning production with program milestones and mission readiness goals.

"Starlab offers unmatched capability amongst NASA's Commercial LEO Destination (CLD) concepts and fine tunes the American workforce to realize a start-of-the-art orbiting marketplace to build on our strategic leadership in space," said Dylan Taylor, chairman and CEO of Voyager Technologies. "As majority shareholder, Voyager is driving this program forward with our global partners, ensuring a seamless transition from the ISS and establishing infrastructure that will serve government and commercial customers for decades to come."

NASA has awarded more than $217.5 million to the Starlab program to date, which has successfully completed 27 development milestones. The program is structured to create a multi decade free cash flow stream by supporting government, international and commercial users for research, technology demonstrations and advanced materials development.

The three probes blasted off from Florida's Kennedy Space Center aboard a Falcon 9 rocket, built by the private company SpaceX. Once in space, the probes will begin a long journey to reach the Lagrange 1 point - a spot approximately 1.5 million kilometers (930,000 miles) from the Sun that offers a stable vanta ... read more
