Leaf Space scales support for multi-satellite rideshare missions

Berlin, Germany (SPX) Dec 03, 2025

Leaf Space is providing ground segment services for 31 satellites on a single upcoming SpaceX rideshare mission, the largest number of spacecraft it has supported on one launch to date and representing about 30 percent of all payloads on the flight.

These newly supported spacecraft join 140 satellites already operating through the company's Leaf Line ground station network, used by commercial and institutional customers. The network is built around a global array of ground stations, a proprietary scheduling system, and control software designed to keep communications and operations stable as customers increase the number of spacecraft they deploy.

Leaf Space reports that its team has progressively developed this infrastructure and software so that satellite operators can focus on spacecraft and mission design while the company manages the ground segment. The Leaf Line service is positioned to handle missions ranging from single satellites to rideshare deployments and larger constellations, as well as institutional programs requiring regular contact and data downlink.

For the Transporter 15 mission, Leaf Space has also introduced a dedicated mission patch created to recognize the operators that selected the Leaf Line network for this flight. The company is inviting teams planning future rideshare launches, constellation deployments, or institutional missions to engage with its ground segment services through its website.
