NASA plans two challenging spacewalks to fix ISS pump

NASA teams raced Monday to get ready for two challenging spacewalks to fix a pump module on the International Space Station's cooling system that dramatically failed last week. ISS astronauts will need a minimum of two spacewalks to remove the failed ammonia pump unit and replace it with a new one, with the first to take place on Friday, NASA said. Washington backs Israeli Arrow II upgrade

The United States and Israel have agreed to upgrade Israel's Arrow II anti-ballistic missile into a longer-range version, the Israeli Defense Ministry said. Alenia Aermacchi, a Finmeccanica company, will supply the United Arab Emirates air force with four more 10 MB-339A trainer aircraft in aerobatic configuration.
