Dassault Systemes CEO appointed chairman of French group
Paris, France, Feb 21 (AFP) Feb 21, 2026
Pascal Daloz, chief executive officer of French software group Dassault Systemes, was appointed chairman of the board of directors, after the incumbent resigned suddenly, the company announced Saturday.

Bernard Charles, the current director, had told the board that he was stepping down immediately "for personal reasons", said a company statement.

The board had decided unanimously to appoint Daloz with immediate effect, keeping him in his current post as CEO, it added.

Earlier this month, Dassault Systemes posted lower sales than expected, prompting a heavy sell-off of its shares on worries about its ability to garner more subscription and cloud clients.

The company also said it wanted to deploy AI capabilities across its product lines.

Its revenue forecast of a rise of between three to five percent in 2026 was lower than the six percent most analysts had forecast.
