ITER Fusion Reactor Project Agreement Initialed At Brussels Meet

The various parties involved in the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project Wednesday initialed an agreement on construction of the world's first nuclear fusion reactor. The agreement was initialed in Brussels by representatives from Russia, the United States, Japan, China, South Korea and the European Union, and gives the go-ahead for practical work on the project to start.

    AEROFLEX Adds Plainview PW5032 RadHard To Product Line

    Aeroflex Plainview has added the RadHard-by-Design PWM controller to its product line up. The PWM5032 high-speed, low power controller joins the PWM5031 which is currently in production. The RadHard PWM Controller was developed in partnership with Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Lab and the Technology Applications Group for the Mars Technology program, part of NASA's Mars Exploration Program.

    Inexpensive Detector Sees The Invisible In Color
