Spaceport Company and Maritime Launch Collaborate on Tracking Systems for Nova Scotia Spaceport

Maritime Launch Services Inc. (Cboe: MAXQ, OTCB: MAXQF) and The Spaceport Company have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to lease a containerized tracking and telemetry station (TTS) for the inaugural orbital launch from Canada, with options to purchase additional units for future launches.

"This agreement allows us to provide Maritime Launch customers alternatives for on-site and downrange support for space launch operations from Spaceport Nova Scotia," said Stephen Matier, President and CEO. "It's important that our clients receive all their service needs at the ready, so they can focus on their satellite client missions."

Founded in 2022 in Northern Virginia, The Spaceport Company, with operations also in Florida and Mississippi, builds infrastructure aimed at alleviating launch site congestion. The team, possessing over 30 years of combined experience in space and infrastructure industries, has engineered an innovative, mobile launch tracking system housed in transportable containers for rapid deployment.

Maritime Launch is developing Canada's first commercial spaceport, Spaceport Nova Scotia, located near Canso, Nova Scotia, offering a flexible and economical launch tracking service that includes multiple transportable units deployable globally for continuous tracking through orbital insertion and beyond.

Slated to begin operations in 2025, Maritime Launch will initially implement this mobile tracking service during its first orbital mission.

The LOI marks a preliminary agreement, paving the way for further discussions and finalizing terms for the lease and potential purchase of the tracking and telemetry stations, with both firms committed to enhancing space launch operations and innovation within the global commercial space sector.
