Founded in 2022 in Hyderabad, XDLINX Space Labs set out to redefine space missions by making satellite technology more accessible. Their first significant achievement was the launch of JANUS-1, a software-defined 6U nanosatellite demonstrating multi-tenancy payload capabilities. Developed in just 10 months, JANUS-1 was launched aboard ISRO's SSLV-D2 rocket on February 10, 2023, significantly reducing both the cost and time for space missions compared to traditional satellite models.

XDLINX is also preparing to launch its next major project, Elevation-1, featuring the world's first miniaturized space-grade E-band payload. Scheduled to launch aboard SpaceX's Transporter-12 mission, Elevation-1 is designed to demonstrate E-band communications with digital modulation, aiming for data rates exceeding 10 Gbps.
In addition, the company is working on a 150KG class satellite that integrates Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Multi-Spectral optical sensors, using their XDSAT-M600 platform, which is expected to launch in Q3-2025. XDLINX is also negotiating contracts for a sub-meter multi-spectral imagery satellite constellation, and has signed MOUs with leading space companies to foster continued collaboration and innovation.
