Rivada Space Networks has announced the launch of the OuterNET, its groundbreaking low-earth-orbit (LEO) satellite constellation designed to deliver the first-ever single, global, and omnipresent communications network. "With OuterNET, we're making true global wireless connectivity a reality for the first time," proclaimed Declan Ganley, CEO of Rivada. This innovation not only symbolizes a leap into a new era of connectivity but also embodies Rivada's refreshed brand identity, inspired by the network's potential to transform global communications.

Comprising 600 satellites, the OuterNET constellation promises unparalleled global coverage, supported by end-to-end intersatellite laser links that form a cohesive global mesh network in the void of space. Leveraging Rivada's high-priority Ka Band filings, the system facilitates ground-to-space communication, with each satellite boasting four high-speed optical intersatellite links and sophisticated routing technology to ensure data is transmitted securely and efficiently within the network. This unique architecture guarantees exceptional security, speed, and low latency for users everywhere.

Declan Ganley emphasized, "OuterNET will redefine the boundaries of what is achievable in communications technology." The constellation's meticulously designed orbital network enables continuous, pole-to-pole satellite movement and interconnectivity, ensuring resilient, multipath communication across the globe.

Clemens Kaiser, Chief Program Officer, highlighted the technological advancements integrated into the OuterNET, including phased-array antennas, high-speed modems, optical intersatellite links, and advanced on-board processors and routers. These innovations collectively elevate the network core into orbit, enabling real-time traffic management across the expansive network and offering a secure, enterprise-grade connectivity solution unparalleled in the current market.

The OuterNET is engineered to meet the stringent requirements of enterprise and government clients, providing MEF-compliant connectivity solutions that transcend the limitations of traditional consumer broadband. "Our mission is to offer connectivity that ensures our clients are 'connected' only where they wish, safeguarding against the vulnerabilities of the public internet," Ganley explained.

Rivada Space Networks invites interested parties to explore the possibilities of the OuterNET and its commitment to elevating global communications. The call to action, "Rise Above," aptly encapsulates the essence of the OuterNET, urging customers to transcend the conventional and embrace a future of secure, reliable, and comprehensive connectivity.
