Ovzon has unveiled two new satellite communication services, designed to enhance performance, mobility, and resilience for its users. The services, dubbed Ovzon Pegasus and Ovzon Orion, leverage the advanced capabilities of the newly launched Ovzon 3 satellite and its onboard processing technology.

The Ovzon Pegasus service utilizes a steerable beam technology enabled by the Ovzon 3 satellite, specifically engineered for demanding tasks. This service achieves exceptional data transmission rates from compact mobile satellite terminals, offering a significant improvement in data rate-to-weight ratio compared to traditional satellite spot beam services.

Meanwhile, the Ovzon Orion service is tailored for the Ovzon T7 mobile satellite terminal. It incorporates features essential for mission-critical operations in challenging environments. This service ensures robust communication capabilities, allowing for autonomous operations even when ground control infrastructures are compromised, thanks to a direct link between the Ovzon 3 satellite and the mobile terminal.

"As Ovzon 3 prepares for its entry-into-service, I am proud that we now launch these new industry-first services enabled by Ovzon 3, the Ovzon On-Board-Processor, and the Ovzon T7. Ovzon's innovative and unique technologies can offer something to our customers which is not available today on the market, and meet the increasing demand on mission-critical satellite communication," says Per Noren, CEO of Ovzon.
