GomSpace signs a contract with SpaceAble to enhance the sustainability of Low Earth Orbit GomSpace enters into an agreement with SpaceAble, to enhance the sustainability of Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The contract is worth 21MSEK (US$2.4M) and the project will begin in 2021 with expected delivery in late 2023. The mission is designed to enhance the sustainability of LEO. By tracking the inherent risk of space weather thanks to SpaceAble's technology and GomSpace's platform, we are working at a larger level on providing the market with a comprehensive solution-which includes both inspector satellites and critical space data-to strengthen the resilience of new constellations. "We are proud to work with SpaceAble and support a business that focuses on reducing debris, that significantly enhances our understanding of space weather effects so as to provide a full spectrum and interoperable space situational awareness solution that the whole LEO market is still in need of." - says Niels Buus, CEO of GomSpace. GomSpace and OHB sign Preliminary Authority to Proceed (PATP) to start implement ESA HERA Inter Sate The ESA HERA mission consists of one mother-spacecraft developed by OHB and two CubeSats. GomSpace provides one of the CubeSats (Juventas) as well as the Inter-satellite link system (ISL) between the three spacecrafts enabling the communication between the spacecrafts as well as communication to Earth. The ESA HERA mission is a planetary defense mission into deep space to be launched in 2024.
Phantom Space announces agreement to build and launch 72 satellite constellation for Ingenu Tucson AZ (SPX) Oct 01, 2021 Phantom Space Corporation, a space transportation technology development and manufacturing company, has announced that they signed an agreement with Ingenu, provider of one of the leading Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technology platforms.
