Swiss solar plane makes history with round-the-clock flightPayerne, Switzerland (AFP) July 8, 2010 A solar powered aircraft made history Thursday after flying around the clock on the sun's energy alone, bringing the dream of perpetual flight a step closer. Cathay Pacific plans fast Internet and cellphone service
Hong Kong (AFP) July 8, 2010Cathay Pacific has announced plans to fit its entire fleet with full broadband Internet access, a mobile phone service and even live television. In a deal with Panasonic Avionics, the eXConnect broadband system will have speeds of up to 50 megabytes on the Hong Kong flag-carrier's aircraft by early 2012.
