Shuttle Endeavour docks with International Space Station
Cape Canaveral, Florida (AFP) Feb 10, 2010
The US space shuttle Endeavour docked on schedule Wednesday with the orbiting International Space Station, NASA announced. At 0506 GMT Endeavour Commander George Zamka backed the space shuttle "into pressurized mating adapter number 2 on the International Space Station's Harmony node," NASA said in a statement. "The two spacecraft were flying 225 miles (362 kilometers) up and off the northern coast of Spain at the time they docked." The maneuver was broadcast live on NASA TV. The shuttle ... read more
