NanoRacks welcomes first Chief Operating Officer

At NanoRacks, Purgerson will directly oversee each department's day-to-day activities and provide executive oversight across all engineering projects. Operating out of NanoRacks' Houston office, Purgerson will bring her combination of extensive leadership experience, operational improvement, and organizational optimization skills to continue pushing NanoRacks as the leader in the commercial space marketplace.

NanoRacks, the market leader for commercial access to low-Earth orbit, is pleased to announce that Stephanie Purgerson has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Purgerson, a Colonel in the Texas Army National Guard brings over 28 years of professional commercial and military experience with technical, operational, and strategic leadership.

Most recently, Purgerson served as a Senior Project Manager for the Texas National Guard where she provided executive oversight for special projects which included employee development, joint assignments, joint training, unit alignment resources, and legislative recommendations for joint officers at the state level.

Previously, she served as the Division Chief of Strategic Military Personnel Policy where she was the lead for the National Guard Bureau for key strategic personnel policy and legislative initiatives. She also served as a Senior Manager of Supply Chain Operations and Logistics in several Fortune 500 companies.
