Over 3,500 professionals from the commercial drone sector, representing more than 60 countries, are set to gather at the Commercial UAV Expo, the leading global trade show and conference for commercial drone technology. The event will be hosted at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas from September 3-5, 2024, providing an opportunity for networking, knowledge exchange, and exploration of the latest advancements in drone technology, applications, and operations.

"Commercial UAV Expo continues to be at the forefront of commercial drone innovation, and this year we are celebrating ten years of bringing together industry professionals from around the world to discuss the latest developments, share the newest technology, and work cooperatively to create the airspace of the future," said Lee Corkhill, Group Event Director at Diversified Communications, organizer of the event. "To mark its tenth edition, Commercial UAV Expo has expanded the conference program to focus on rapidly growing sectors, showcasing case studies, new processes, and technologies that address major challenges and offer solutions."

The Conference Program will feature over 150 industry leaders centered around the theme "Drones in Action: Current Realities and Future Frontiers." The program will highlight the transformative role of UAS technology, offering practical, actionable insights. Discussions will focus on strategies for building successful drone programs within rapidly growing sectors such as Construction, Energy and Utilities, Infrastructure, and Transportation. Additionally, a dedicated Policy track will provide essential updates directly from regulators to drone operators.

A new feature, the Pilot Hub, will serve as a networking space for current and aspiring drone pilots. Here, operators can exchange knowledge and learn how to enhance their skills to maximize business potential.

The event will also offer additional educational opportunities, including workshops, a two-day DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Summit, a two-day FLYING HY hydrogen aviation conference hosted by HYSKY Society, and various presentations and panel discussions in the Exhibit Hall Theater. Topics will include building a diverse workforce, safe drone project management, and innovation in agriculture and forestry.

The opening keynotes on Wednesday, September 4, will address critical issues facing the drone industry. Sessions include "The State of the Drone Industry: Will Better Collaboration Unlock the Full Potential of Drones?" featuring speakers from the Commercial Drone Alliance and Hogan Lovells, "Outlining the Future of the Airspace with the FAA," and "Accelerating Commercial Viability and Market Demand" with representatives from Ondas Autonomous Systems, uAvionix Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric, and NUAIR.

On Thursday, September 5, the keynote discussions will continue with "Outlining the Future of Drone Regulations with the FAA," featuring speakers from the Commercial Drone Alliance and the FAA. Additionally, a keynote conversation titled "The Secret to Success for Public and Enterprise Drone Programs: Intentional Implementation for Scalable Adoption" will feature insights from Houston Public Works and Pacific Gas and Electric.

Outdoor Flying Demonstrations will take place on Tuesday, September 3, at Cornerstone Park in Henderson, NV. These live-action demonstrations will allow attendees to observe various systems in real-world scenarios, with drone experts available to narrate and answer questions.

The event's exhibit hall, filled to capacity, will showcase over 225 industry-leading solution providers. Attendees will have the chance to compare and evaluate hundreds of solutions, engage with technical experts, and find tools tailored to their specific needs and applications.

The Level-Up Lounge, dedicated to personal and professional development, will offer 15-minute brand audits and consultations for all registrants.

Additional features of the event include a University Round Table, Agriculture Round Table, Exhibitor Showcases, Welcome Reception, Networking Happy Hour, and the Pitch the Press competition.

More than 300 associations and media outlets have endorsed the Commercial UAV Expo, affirming its status as the premier event for professionals integrating and operating commercial UAS. Registration is still open - secure your spot today!
