Oslo, Norway (SPX) Jan 19, 2006 The board of Telenor Satellite Services AS (TSS) recently appointed Morten Tengs new Chief Executive Officer of TSS, effective 1st of February 2006. Tengs replaces Tore Hilde who will be leaving the company at the end of January. Morten Tengs (44) joined Telenor Global Services AS in 1995 and has held the position as the company's CEO since 1999. His education comprises both technical engineering studies from Agder Ingeni�r og Distriktsh�yskole as well as a Master of Business Administration from BI Norwegian School of Management. "As the new CEO of Telenor Satellite Services, I believe Morten Tengs will be able to lead and further strengthen the company as one of the leading global satellite communication providers", said Bjarne Aamodt, chairman of TSS. "Morten has demonstrated excellent qualifications managing the successful development of Telenor Global Services under very difficult market conditions the last few years. With these proven qualifications and his experience I feel confident that he is the right person to lead TSS in the next phase of its development." "I have followed Telenor Satellite Services' development from the outside since I joined Telenor in 1995.
