Paris, France (SPX) Aug 20, 2024

Marlink, a prominent provider of managed business-critical ICT services, has introduced new customizable Starlink LEO internet plans as part of its hybrid network offerings. These plans cater to a wide range of industries, including maritime, onshore and offshore energy, enterprise, and leisure boating, with data packages ranging from 10GB to unlimited.

Customers can now tailor their Starlink data packages according to their specific operational needs, allowing them to share data across multiple remote sites and assets as requirements evolve. These new options are integrated into Marlink's hybrid network solutions, which combine Starlink's high throughput, low latency service with VSAT and 4G/5G solutions that offer guaranteed bandwidth. This integration ensures optimized data transfer and application performance, with networks managed end-to-end to deliver robust and reliable connectivity solutions.

As one of the leading providers of Starlink services in the maritime sector, Marlink delivers network solutions to a third of the IMO-regulated shipping fleet. The demand for LEO solutions continues to grow, both on land and at sea, driving the need for flexible data plans that accommodate the varied needs of both large and small customers.

Marlink has already sold 3,200 LEO terminals, which are either integrated into its hybrid networks or deployed as standalone units, serving customers in remote and demanding environments. By offering these customizable hybrid plans as part of its overall network solutions, Marlink enhances its customers' operations by providing managed access to a comprehensive suite of digital services.

"Our customers operating in challenging and remote environments require a partner which can create flexible and innovative solutions that bring new possibilities to their operations. The ability to create customised Starlink solutions that are seamlessly integrated into the Marlink hybrid network, enables customers to benefit from the blend of managed, optimised and secure connectivity," said Erik Ceuppens, CEO of Marlink.
