The Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Space ISAC) and the French Space Agency, Centre National D'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), have entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance international collaboration and cybersecurity within the global space sector. CNES, pivotal in shaping France's space policy, collaborates to invent future space systems, advance technologies, and maintain France's autonomous access to space.

This partnership allows for the bidirectional exchange of cyber and physical threat intelligence, significantly benefiting the space sector. The MOU facilitates cooperation on developing and deploying cybersecurity requirements, including crafting guidelines and standards.

Erin Miller, Executive Director of Space ISAC, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing the collective effort to fortify the industry against emerging threats. This union aims to bolster information sharing and heighten international space awareness by harnessing collective cybersecurity expertise.

As both entities anticipate further collaborative projects, they are poised to strengthen global space security through research initiatives and coordinated response strategies, reinforcing a robust and secure space framework.
