Agreement With BT Broadcast Services Signed

SES ASTRA has completed an agreement covering the use of one full transponder has been signed with BT Broadcast Services. The deal underscores the continued dynamic developments in the UK market. The additional capacity contracted will be used for the provision of free-to-air and pay TV services in the British Isles.

Commenting on the recent agreement, Alexander Oudendijk, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing at SES ASTRA, said: "Like ASTRA, BT Broadcast Services continues to push media boundaries ultimately benefiting their customers.

We believe that the agreement reflects SES ASTRA's position as the satellite partner of choice in the UK and Ireland and we are more than pleased to extend our working relationship with BT Broadcast Services."
