Cancom Turns To Orbcomm for Trailer Tracker

Vantage Tracking Solutions, a business unit of ORBCOMM and Cancom Tracking Solutions (Cancom), has reached agreement for Cancom to distribute the Vantage satellite-based trailer tracking system to the Canadian transportation market. Canadian fleets are responsible for almost 400,000 trailers.

With this agreement, Cancom will have exclusive rights to offer the Vantage trailer tracking system to trucking segments in Canada. Cancom Tracking Solutions will market and deliver the Vantage trailer tracking product to motor carriers, adding to the mobile communications solutions currently offered by Cancom to the Canadian transportation industry.

The Vantage solution will enable Cancom to offer its carriers the ability to better manage the productivity and efficiency of their trailer assets by linking critical trailer location and status data directly to the carriers' fleet management and logistics systems via ORBCOMM's LEO satellite network.

    Altair Awarded Navy UAV Contract

    Altair Aerospace is pleased to announce the award of a contract from the Naval Air Systems Command to support Vertical Take-Off and Landing R&D activities.
