The U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has tapped CACI to provide airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services.

The five-year task order, worth $29 million, also covers full-motion video expertise and analysis in support of U.S. and allied operations around the world.

"CACI is uniquely qualified to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in all areas of geospatial intelligence, including full-motion video analysis and exploitation," said John Mengucci, CACI's chief operating officer and president of U.S. Operations. "Our decade-long experience in this highly specialized field enables us to deliver the actionable, time-critical information NGA's customers need to fulfill their missions in a turbulent world."

The order is the first under a Multi-Intelligence Analytical and Collection Support Services multiple-award, an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle, which has a ceiling of $978 million.

CACI said it was awarded the contract as a result of its acquisition this year of the intelligence solutions company, National Security Solutions.
