Press Release from Business Wire: TreviPay
(AFP) Jan 20, 2026
OVERLAND PARK, Jan 20, 2026 (BSW) - TreviPay announces the launch of its Pay by Invoice solution for Visa-issuing banks, enabling issuers to capture a greater share of the $58 trillion North American B2B payments market. Through this collaboration with Visa, a world leader in digital payments, TreviPay's order-to-cash automation technology combines with Visa's commercial payment capabilities to help issuers move fragmented B2B spend into strategic, issuer-financed, invoice-based transactions.

A Murphy Research study, found 26% of corporate payments are still made with checks or rely on manual legacy ACH processes. The study also shows 78% of global B2B buyers need customization or control in their payments and invoicing workflows, with 61% preferring to pay on net terms. Pay by Invoice helps banks meet these expectations by providing suppliers with early payment (generally within two days of invoicing) while enabling buyers to settle on negotiated terms such as 30, 60, or 90 days. Both parties benefit from an automated, transparent invoicing and order-to-cash experience.

"For years, banks have been looking for a scalable way to capture the significant share of B2B payments still happening off-card," said Brandon Spear, CEO of TreviPay. "TreviPay Pay by Invoice unlocks that opportunity. By integrating our order-to-cash automation with Visa's network capabilities, issuing banks can now offer their commercial clients a modern credit solution that automates invoicing and delivers the flexibility we know business buyers expect."

"Commercial payments are undergoing a pivotal transformation driven by automation, AI, embedded finance and the rising demand for smarter working capital solutions," said Darren Parslow, Global Head of Visa Commercial Solutions. "TreviPay Pay by Invoice with Visa network capabilities gives issuers another way to serve their clients with the speed, control and efficiency they need."

"Through our collaboration with TreviPay, we are helping businesses embed payments seamlessly into their existing workflows, unlocking new working capital opportunities and improving efficiency in the order-to-cash process," said Piyush Tiwari, Head of Global Strategic Partnerships, Visa Commercial Solutions.

Trade credit facilitated by TreviPay's Pay by Invoice platform and supported by Visa's network capabilities is funded by the issuer, allowing banks to manage credit decisions for their existing clients while benefiting from TreviPay's onboarding and full-service A/R automation. For banks, the model offers:

-- Incremental revenue opportunities from converting non-card payments to a new B2B payment solution

-- Minimal IT lift by leveraging existing credit, underwriting and servicing frameworks

-- A differentiated commercial offering that strengthens issuer-client relationships

-- Access to new buyer segments for cross-sell opportunities

-- Portfolio growth supported by TreviPay's platform controls and individual transaction transparency
