SES reports that SkyStream FZ LLC has renewed a multi-year deal on SES' NSS-6 satellite at 95 degrees East to provide reliable connectivity to its maritime, and oil and gas customers via secure VSAT networks.

SkyStream will utilise the Ku-band capacity on the SES satellite to deliver corporate VPN services across Iraq, Afghanistan and other key countries, so that SkyStream's customers stay connected at all times.

"We started our business with SES years ago and their services were the first bricks of our expansion and success. We are privileged to work with a professional and supportive partner such as SES," said Riyadh Al Adely, Managing Director at SkyStream.

"The latest deal with SES reaffirms our continued commitment to provide our customers with premium cost-effective capacity and will allow us to extend our VSAT business across the region."

"The latest renewal agreement reaffirms the strong partnership that SES and SkyStream have enjoyed in the past decade. We will continue to work closely with SkyStream to enable them to grow their corporate networks into new regions," said Deepak Mathur, Senior Vice President, Commercial, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East at SES.
