New Mobile Antenna from ASC Signal Designed For Rapid Deployment by Defense and Commercial Users

ASC Signal has unveiled a new 2.4 meter nomadic antenna that incorporates the company's advanced mobile features in the lightest, most agile package it has ever offered to defense and commercial customers. The company has recently started producing its first units and has delivered several to customers for initial testing.

ASC Signal designed this lightweight, carbon-fiber antenna for ease of transport and rapid deployment in any environment, with the antenna's one-, three- or nine-piece reflector panels allowing for flexible configuration.

The low-cost antenna enables cost-effective communications in L-, S-, X-, C-, K-, Ku-, Ka-, Q- and V-bands as well as low passive intermodulation (PIM). The system's flexibility also ensures low, on-going costs of operation and upgrades, and expandability for a variety of applications.

"Our new 2.4 meter nomadic antenna meets our government and commercial customers' needs for mobility and rapid deployment at a very affordable price," said Keith Buckley, President and CEO of ASC Signal.

This technology expands our full range of antennas and systems as we continue to provide reliable performance and flexibility for critical mobile and fixed communications in commercial and defense markets worldwide."

To provide the most accurate deployment and tracking of any antenna in its class, the 2.4m capitalizes on the proven features of ASC's larger antennas used in defense and commercial applications around the world. The antenna can include motorization packages to integrate seamlessly with ASC's Next Generation Controller.

This antenna, incorporating the company's full range of technologies, meets U.S. Department of Defense MIL-SPEC standards and is certifiable by DISA and ARSTRAT.
