Atlantic Energy Begins Energy Efficiency Project For NJ School District
by Staff Writers
Saratoga Springs NY (SPX) Aug 11, 2008

-

Atlantic Energy Solutions has just initiated a turn-key energy efficiency and conservation project for its first Southern New Jersey Regional School District. What is going to occur is a significant annual energy savings in cost and wattage usage for the district with a payback of 1.9 years.

This equates to taking 6 cars off the road with the 31.8 metric tons of decreased carbon emissions.

The district is excited that they will be able to have a positive cash flow, improve quality of work life with more effective energy equipment, as well as show they are making an effort to be environmentally and economically conscious.

Atlantic Energy believes that this first project will lead to several more energy conservation measures with this school district and many others in Southern New Jersey.

In addition to their own investment and realizing their annual savings, the school district has qualified for and been awarded a SmartStart rebate. In order to receive this, SmartStart incentives are awarded to high-quality energy conservation projects.

A project must meet stringent engineering requirements. The application process is competitive and includes thorough expert review.

The project is expected to be completed in one month.
