Adept Technology To Showcase Solar Cell Handling System

Adept Technology has announced its solar cell handling system will be showcased at the 2nd International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo in Tokyo, Japan.

The application workcell is a high-speed solar cell handling system with integrated inline inspection and features the Adept Quattro s650 a four arm parallel robot. This will be the first time the Adept Quattro and the solar cell handling system has been featured in a Japanese show.

"The PV Expo is Asia's largest business-to-business photovoltaic event and we are very excited to be bringing our solar products and technology to this region,? said John Dulchinos, president and CEO of Adept Technology.

The 2nd International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo is an international exhibition focused on the PV industry.

The show will focus on PV materials and manufacturing equipment, while also including solar cell and module manufacturers and all products needed for a PV system.

The exhibition is aimed at industry professionals, construction companies, universities and government offices. The show anticipates 27,000 plus attendees visiting an expected 450 exhibiting companies, including the top solar manufacturers in both Asia and Europe.
