VSAT Provider C2SAT Communications Awards SSC The Certificate Program

C2SAT communications announced last Friday the entry of the co-operation with Swedish Space Corporation regarding the certificate program for type approval of the C2SAT 1.2m Stabilised Ku-band VSAT Antenna System.

"The C2SAT stabilised antenna is very interesting and we are pleased to be selected for the certificate and approval program" said Anders Bjorkman, Technical Manager, Monitoring Services, SSC.

Tommy Sundqvist, Chairman and President of C2SAT said: "SSC was C2SAT's first choice for the certificate and approval program, so naturally we are very pleased to commence this project with SSC".

According to Mats Back, C2SAT Communications Manager, "C2SAT and Swedish Space Corporation have co-operated in earlier stages of the successful internal test program and C2SAT has nothing but excellent experiences from the SSC team".

The internal test program comprised up link via the Sirius 2 satellite and down link at the Esrange Earth Station.

The certificate and approval tests will be performed via the Sirius 2 satellite utilising Stockholm Teleport in Agesta south of central Stockholm as Earth Station.
