SES Global Will Join The CAC Next20 And IT20 Indices

Betzdorf, Luxembourg (SPX) Jul 07, 2005
The Euronext Paris Indices Committee has announced its decision to include SES Global in the CAC Next20 and IT20 indices. This decision will take effect from Thursday 1 September 2005.

The CAC Next20 index represents the next twenty most representative stocks, measured by free-float, capitalisation and liquidity, after the forty stocks in the CAC 40 index. CAC Next20 stocks are thus candidates for promotion to the CAC 40 index.

The CAC IT20 index contains the most representative stocks from the CAC IT index in terms of size and volume.

The CAC IT index comprises companies from the following sectors: software and computer services, IT hardware, telecommunications services (operators), media and photography, and electronic and electrical equipment. The CAC IT index is also weighted by free float.

As of July 4th close of trading, SES Global's market capitalisation amounted to 6.1 billion euros and the free float capitalisation to 2.4 billion euros.

Romain Bausch, President & CEO of SES Global, commented this decision: "We are particularly pleased with the Euronext Paris decision to incorporate SES Global within the CAC Next20 and CAC IT20 indices. The Committee's decision rewards one year of successful listing of our shares on Euronext Paris."
