Quake Global Delivers New Satellite Communicators
Quake Global is announcing the delivery of its new Q1200-SG satellite communicators to Caterpillar. These satellite communicators are one component of a technology attachment used on multiple Cat construction and mining machines, which provide essential machine data. Quake has been working for more than a year to address the communication challenges in transmitting data from machines, oftentimes working in rough terrain at a remote sites, such as a mine site. This rugged, compact satellite communicator meets the specific criteria identified for these applications. "The applications require technology products to be extremely durable and reliable. Quake Global is proud to be able to deliver this communications technology," said Polina Braunstein, CEO of Quake Global. "Working with a customer with the high quality standards of Caterpillar has been especially challenging and gratifying. We look forward to providing them with a quality product in the future."
