The U.S. Air Force selected Lockheed Martin to evaluate, purchase and install support systems for launches at Vandenberg AFB and Cape Canaveral Air Station. A portion of this multi-million dollar, multi-year contract includes the implementation of a sophisticated document management and workflow system to capture planning and real-time launch documents and manage them over time.

Centra 2000 was chosen for its performance, architectural integrity and long-term scalability, as well as its advanced application programming interface that will enable easy customization by Lockheed Martin to meet RSAIIA objectives.

Over the next decade, the RSA program, under the direction of the U.S. Air Force, will implement a functional Spacelift Range System (SLRS) that modernizes and standardizes the capabilities and facilities of the Eastern Range at Cape Canaveral Air Station and the Western Range at Vandenberg Air Force Base. The RSA program will provide a modern, operationally efficient national launch infrastructure with the flexibility to meet the requirements of range users into the 21st century. Centra 2000 will handle the mission-critical, product data management demands of this important project of the space program.
