PARIS (AFP) Feb 14, 2005 Shares in French computer group Bull rose sharply here Monday on publication of results Friday that were in line with market expectations. Bull shares gained 6.56 percent to 0.65 euros in mid-day trading on an overall market that was down 0.24 percent at 4,007.19. The group said Friday it had net earnings of 10.8 million euros (14 million dollars) compared with 4.1 million in 2003. It added that earnings before taxes, interest, amortization and exceptional items came to 41.1 million euros last year after 40.7 million in 2003. Sales fell to 1.139 billion euros from 1.265 billion in 2003. Brokers CM-CIC issued a "buy" recommendation for Bull. "The results show an improvement in activity trends," CM-CIC said.
