Bull computer group reports 8.2 percent fall in third quarter sales

 The French computer group Bull announced an 8.2 percent fall in sales in the third quarter to 286.3 million euros (338 million dollars) compared with the same period last year.

Sales in the first nine months of 2003 came to 928.7 million euros, which the company said was consistent with its full-year projections.

Sales are projected to come to 1.264 billion euros for the year, compared with 1.514 billion in 2002.

Bull hopes to report net earnings of 2.6 million euros for the year and an operating profit of 35.8 million euros.

Bull shares were down 2.63 percent at 0.74 euros in early afternoon trading here.
