India's Satyam Computer's net profit soars 24.5 percent
BANGALORE, India (AFP) Oct 23, 2003 India's fourth largest software exporter Satyam Computer Services said Thursday its second quarter net profit soared 24.5 percent from last year to 1.47 billion rupees (32 million dollars).
The firm, which has development centres in India, the United States, Europe, Japan and Singapore, said its revenues for the quarter ended September jumped 26 percent to 6.3 billion rupees.
