Arianespace and the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) have signed a deal under which EADS will build 30 Ariane-5 launchers, enabling Arianespace to continue its satellite launch services, the companies said Friday in a joint statement.Arianespace in May transfered responsibility for rocket production to EADS, which holds 28 percent of the shares in the private European commercial satellite launching company.
