India software exports jump 26 percent but fall short of target
NEW DELHI (AFP) Jun 03, 2003
India's software exports grew 26.3 percent to 9.5 billion dollars in the year to March but still fell short of projections due to the appreciation of the Indian currency, the country's premier IT body said Tuesday.

The National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) had set a 30 percent growth target for software exports during the last fiscal year.
