Bush says Iraq war is "one victory" against terrorism
ABOARD THE USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (AFP) May 02, 2003 US President George W. Bush late Thursday said the war in Iraq yielded "one victory in a war on terror."
"The Battle of Iraq is one victory in a war on terror that began on September 11th, 2001, and still goes on," Bush said in a speech aboard this gaircrafdt carrier, homebound from the Gulf with a crew of some 5,000.
