Iraqi military intelligence chief captured: US defense official
WASHINGTON (AFP) Apr 23, 2003 The chief of Iraqi military intelligence, Zuhair al-Naquib, has been taken into custody by US forces in Iraq, a US defense official said Wednesday.
"We have him," said the official, who described al-Naquib as the Iraqi equivalent to the head of the US Defense Intelligence Agency.
Al-Naquib was 21 on the list of 55 most wanted Iraqi officials.
