"This cache is in 40 different bunkers and contains multiple rocket-launched rockets, artillery rounds and other munitions, including, significantly, 50 SA-7s, the hand handheld surface-to-air missiles," General Richard Myers, chairman of the US military Joint Chiefs of Staff, said.

Kirkuk is 240 kilometers (150 miles) north of Baghdad.
