SAINT LOUIS, Missouri (AFP) Apr 16, 2003 US President George W. Bush called Wednesday for the United Nations to lift sanctions on Iraq now that Saddam Hussein has been ousted.
"Now that Iraq has been liberated, the United Nations should lift economic sanctions on that country" he said in a speech here.
