US offers rewards for info leading to capture of Saddam regime leaders

 The United States is offering cash rewards for information that leads to the capture of Saddam Hussein, leaders of his regime and to weapons of mass destruction, the US Central Command said here Saturday.

"A rewards programme has been established for information leading to the capture of key leaders" of the Baghdad regime, Brigadier General Vincent Brooks said, adding that "appropriate prices" were being offered.

The US Defense Department on Friday released pictures of the 52 most wanted Iraqi leaders in the form of playing cards to be distributed throughout Iraq.
