BAGHDAD (AFP) Apr 09, 2003 Jubilant crowds cheered US troops rolling through a district of northern Baghdad Wednesday, applauding and chanting "Good, Good, Bush!", an AFP journalist said.
Hundreds of Baghdadis welcomed the US convoy of seven vehicles carrying Marines through the Hababiyah district about three kilometers (two miles) from the heart of the capital, and tore up a giant portrait of President Saddam Hussein.
