Bush back at the White House
WASHINGTON (AFP) Apr 08, 2003
US President George W. Bush was back at the White House Tuesday after a summit with British Prime Minister Tony Blair on the shape of post-war Iraq and the United Nations' role when the fighting ends.

The US leader strode briskly into the Oval Office shortly after his Marine One helicopter touched down on the South Lawn of the presidential mansion under threatening skies around 5:00 pm (2100 GMT).

Several top aides, including his national security adviser Condoleezza Rice and White House Chief of Staff Andy Card, also made their way into the White House's West Wing.

In consecutive days of talks with leaders of countries in the "coalition of the willing" behind the US-led war on Iraq, Bush meets Wednesday with Slovak President Rudolf Schuster, and on Thursday with the presidents of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
