The short video showed images of an Iraqi baby burned in a house fire unrelated to the fighting being treated by US military medics.

Another video take showed US military medical personnel applying a stethoscope to an elderly Iraqi man and an Iraqi woman in the field.

According to Pentagon spokesman Victoria Clarke, some 300 wounded Iraqi soldiers and civilians are being treated in hospitals run by US-led forces, including hospital ships, while others are treated by battlefield medics.
