Five Iraqis killed, 30 wounded: hospital
BAGHDAD (AFP) Apr 07, 2003
Five Iraqis died and 30 others were wounded during fighting in the capital on Monday, the deputy director of Baghdad's al-Kindi hospital told journalists.

Journalists saw Iraqi soldiers and civilians among the casualties.

Ossama Saleh al Doulai said another seven dead and about 100 wounded had been brought to the hospital between early Sunday and early Monday.

Al-Kindi is one of 33 civilian hospitals in Baghdad, which has been under attack by US-British forces since March 20.

Iraq has reported hundreds of civilian deaths and thousands wounded, while US forces claim to have killed thousands of Iraqi troops.
