Iraqi regime not in control of all "major city" of Baghdad
AS-SALIYAH, Qatar (AFP) Apr 07, 2003 The Iraqi leadership is not in control of "all of the major city" of Baghdad, a senior US commander said here Monday.
Brigadier Vincent Brooks said the latest thrust by US forces into the heart of Baghdad "reinforces the reality that the regime is not in control of all of the major city."
