Resistance of Iraqi regime not necessarily over: Britain
LONDON (AFP) Apr 07, 2003 The resistance of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's regime is "not necessarily at an end", British Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon said Monday.
British and US forces would still have to flush out "irregulars, thugs and fanatics" associated with the regime, Hoon told a press briefing in London.
