Condoleezza Rice due in Russia for talks on Iraq

US national security advisor Condoleezza Rice is due to meet top Russian officials in Moscow Monday for talks on Iraq, a US embassy spokesman told AFP.

Rice is to meet "a number of senior officials" during the one-day visit, the spokesman said Sunday, without providing further details.

Interfax news agency reported that the US diplomat was to meet Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov and Security Council chief Vladimir Rushailo.
