AS-SALIYAH, Qatar (AFP) Apr 06, 2003 Six soldiers were killed when their UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter crashed in central Iraq shortly before midnight on April 2, the US Central Command said here Sunday.
A statement from US military authorities directing the war on Iraq said the cause of the accident was under investigation.
US commanders here had earlier said hostile fire was not believed to have brought down the aircraft.
