US forces have bombed a Kurdish convoy in northern Iraq escorted by US special forces, leaving at least 10 Americans apparently dead, according to a BBC correspondent who witnessed the event."I have counted 10 to 12 bodies. Americans dead," the BBC's world affairs editor John Simpson said on air.
